Pico dos Barcelos is a sumptuous and spacious 4 bedroom villa, situated in an enviable location on the outskirts of Funchal. Boasting panoramic views of Funchal town and its cruise port to the east, and of the sea and the cliffs of Cabo Girão to the west, this villa really is designed with outdoor living in mind. Its huge private swimming pool can be heated and is surrounded by a large mature garden with extensive dining terrace, outdoor bathroom, built-in barbecue and a large sun parasol for shade.

Internally, Pico dos Barcelos is finished to a very high standard with beautiful furnishings. On the ground floor which is split across two floor areas, the open plan lounge and dining room is on the lower level and opens to the front terrace and garden. To one side is the large fully-equipped kitchen and breakfast room, which also leads to the garden and swimming pool, to the other side is the ground floor bedroom and adjoining shower room.

On the first floor you will find the master bedroom, complete with its own walk-in wardrobe dressing area and ensuite shower room, as well as a secondary lounge area offering cable television, games tables and a Playstation 4 games console. From here, there is a large outdoor terrace, with rattan seating and views to both Funchal and west to Cabo Girão.

The next split level of this floor leads to the remaining two bedrooms, which share a ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom and have private balconies. From this level, steps lead to an additional balcony with a hot tub, which can be enjoyed whilst relishing in the superb views to Funchal below.

Pico dos Barcelos enjoys a wonderful location in close proximity to the nearest supermarket, the largest shopping mall in Madeira and a handful of restaurants. The centre of Funchal is easily reached by a short taxi or bus ride, and here you can participate in some of the many activities that Madeira has to offer, or dine in one of over 500 restaurants within Funchal alone!
