This elegant villa is surrounded by landscaped gardens and has been recently refurbished with a brand new kitchen and bathrooms. There are views of the nearby Frontline Mijas Golf Course and mountains in the distance. With endless terrace areas where guests can relax and soak up the Mediterranean, this villa makes outdoor living a priority. A traditional white balcony runs along the upper level of the villa, providing great views over the countryside from all directions.
There is a sparkling azure swimming pool with Roman steps, white pillars and sculptures of gods and goddesses around it. The pool has plenty of space for the whole family to enjoy swimming together. A set of sunbeds run along the side closest to the villa. Terracotta potted plants and soaring trees are dotted all around the garden, which has a sweeping lawn and even a trampoline. There is a large outdoor lounge with stylish bamboo furniture, a matching dining table and a covered gazebo.
Step inside to discover the romantic interiors, decorated all in cream with elegant furniture. The room has modern details like the circular glass dining table. Grand cream sofas and plush armchairs provide a comfortable space to unwind – there is Norwegian TV and wifi at this villa. Gilded framed art hangs on the walls, while the chairs in the dining room have interesting patterns painted on the back.
The sleek, monochrome kitchen is compact yet has everything you will need to make delicious family meals to share, including an oven. Guests can also utilise the barbecue in the outdoor lounge. In the games room, there is a pool table, darts and even an Xbox Kinect to keep everyone happy and entertained. The newly-renovated bathrooms have corner bathtubs and glass-encased showers.
There is one bedroom on the ground floor and the other five are on the upper level. The villa has a capacity of 12, which makes it ideal for groups of families travelling together. With buttermilk walls and shimmering pastel bedspreads, the rooms is chic yet uncomplicated. Vintage furniture, tiled floors and floral art all adds to the traditional Roman vibe. The master bedroom is beautifully furnished and has its very own sun terrace.

The front entrance of the villa is accessed only by steps, so guests with mobility issues should plan accordingly.
There are lots of obstacles in the garden that children could bump into such as pillars, so little ones should be supervised at all times.
The villa is in close proximity to a road and other villas in the same complex.
Location
This villa is in a prime location in Fuengirola, a popular and family-friendly spot on the Costa del Sol. The area has a charming atmosphere, lots of fashionable boutiques and of course, fantastic blue-flag beaches. Mijas itself has a charming old village with whitewashed houses that cascade down a mountainside. Climb up for spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The puebla has plenty to see and do, such as horse carriage rides and a flamenco show on Wednesday afternoons.
The golf course that the villa is next to – Mijas Golf – was designed by the renowned golfer Robert Trent Jones Jr. It boasts two courses – Los Lagos and Los Olivos. These 18- hole masterpieces have amazing countryside views. Alternatively, the Cerrados del Aguila resort is part of the Golf Valley of Mijas. Small yet perfectly formed, this golf course excels in 9-hole courses and has a restaurant on site. There are beautiful views of the Mediterranean Sea from most of its courses.
Fuengirola beach is the closest to the villa and definitely worth exploring. This beach has something for everyone – with 7km of golden shoreline, separate areas for watersports and bathing and family friendly atmosphere. The beach runs from Sohail castle to Torreblanco, and it has plenty of chiringuitos, which loosely translates to cafes on the sand. Lots of these serve fresh, local seafood. In terms of watersports, guests can try wakeboarding, water-skiing, tubing and parasailing. Additionally, Fuengirola is a great spot for sunset cocktails and has a buzzing nightlife scene.
Marbella’s Old Town is often overlooked by visitors to the region, but it has countless art galleries, bars and restaurants. Take a stroll to explore the Orange Square – an Andalucian plaza filled with orange trees and lots of plants. Guests can people-watch from a heritage cafe in the square, with a glass of wine or coffee. In this area, guests can also see St Mary’s Church, with its beautiful baroque red stone entrance. Fans of Dali should not miss Avenida del Mar in central Marbella, as his sculptures are displayed all along the boardwalk. There are benches here where you can admire them and soak up the history.
With swathes of beautiful coastline, a fantastic gastronomy scene and a rich melting pot of cultural and historical sights, there are endless things to do in Costa del Sol. Activities here range from adventurous treks across deep ravines and fun days out with the kids to languid strolls through idyllic Andalusian villages.
